Puzzled? Here’s the secret: It’s your Inner Critic. When your Inner Critic is strong, procrastinating may be the only way you can resist its pressure. One more thing: you may be thinking you should do this thing you’re avoiding, but deep inside, your Natural Self does not want to do it at all. Yet, your Inner Critic has you in its grip, so that you can’t attend to what your Natural Self is telling you. There’s more too–more than we have space to explain here. I AM A PROCRASTINATOR!!! My Natural Self wants to do what is before me. Most of the time I procrastinate because my inner critic is saying I cannot do it perfect so why do it at all. Other times it is because I do not know how to do the task before me. My inner critic is strong, however, my skills from Anthetics are getting stronger and I am Disarming that inner critic. The big P rocrastinaaaaaaaaaaation. It’s really powerful at times. Like when it’s time to pay bills. The inner critic should to pay my bills are I’ll be a failure. I’ll lose everything I worked so hard for. I’m not worthy of getting ahead. WOW! Should, should, should all over me. I be damn inner critic I have the right to never, ever pay my bills and I’m still a good person. I have the right to be what you call a failure, you ain’t seen nothing yet. My worth is a given. I don’t believe a damn word you say. Yey! It’s great to have I.C. tools.
